Past initiatives to grow the startup ecosystem focused largely on urban centers.

This overlooked a large pool of potential entrepreneurial talent in suburban and rural areas. MaGIC Bumipreneur is one of many initiatives to increase bumiputera participation by encouraging the growth of more role models, outreach programs and capacity building.
